Dan Donahue

Dan has been writing since 2006.  He is a History major, a car and racing enthusiast, and he has studied television and film for two decades, perfecting the art of the "hook".  He joined forces with Barry in July of 2006 to form Horatio Films in order to create only the most well-written teleplay and sceenplay adaptations of their original works, as well as the work of other authors in the publishing field.  Barry and Dan consider themselves the Lennon and McCartney of the script industry and intend on taking the world by storm.

Horatio Films is devoted to excellence in writing, no matter the genre or medium.  The importance of authorship is the foremost concern of both Barry and Dan, and it will never be compromised.  Many production companies cave in to the industry demands due to the promise of money or fame, but we firmly believe that both money and fame are a direct result of peak performance.  Where other screenwriters will make concessions for their craft, Barry and Dan have vowed never to produce a substandard product for the sake of time constraints, paycheck or opportunity.

That is our promise.

Horatio Films gets its name from a first-time meeting between Barry and Dan as they spontaneously created an entire saga in order to link every artifact hanging on the walls of the restaurant.  The very first artifact that began this bizarre collaboration was a portrait of a sea captain who we dubbed "Admiral Horatio J. Tilleton", commander of the Albatross China Clipper.
